Finding the perfect location in Naperville for your portrait.
Whether you’re looking for senior portraits or a family portrait session, Naperville, IL has an abundance of beautiful locations. Some of my clients have specific locations in mind for their photos while others aren’t sure to where begin. To help you find the perfect location, here is a list of some options available around town.
Downtown Naperville
From the streets of Naperville to the trademark Riverwalk area, downtown Naperville has a countless number of options available for portraits. In downtown, the alleyways and brick walls provide tons of character while the Riverwalk area offers bridges, walkways, stone walls and more.
Knoch Knolls Park
Filled with trails, water, bridges and gigantic trees, Knoch Knolls Park is a great portrait location year round. The park includes two large bridges which span over the DuPage river. These are wonderful spots for photographs like the image one in the photo at the top of the page. The park is filled with trails and the mature trees provide a perfect backdrop.
Riverview Farmstead
Located at the end of Book Rd. and 111th Street, Riverview Farmstead is a hidden gem. It has a number of buildings including an incredible giant red barn. In addition to the buildings, there is a prairie path and the wildflowers are plentiful here.
Eaton Preserve Park
Yes, I said this was going to be all about Naperville but this spot just south in Plainfield, IL on 135th street. This is perhaps one of the most popular photo locations around for good reason. There are a number of great features here including two old barns, some open prairie as well as some beautiful large trees.
Is that it? Not at all, I’m just scratching the surface! Naperville has over 100 Parks. I’ll be featuring more locations in and around Naperville in future posts. Where would you like your portraits taken? Reach out, I’d love to hear from you.
